INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION FOR MENTORING – LEVEL 1
Organizations are continuing to recognize the business value of implementing mentoring programs and mentoring cultures in their organizations. Successful implementation is driven by providing participants with the tools to be successful as effective mentors. As a result of this business need, the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) of Ontario and TalentC® - People Services Inc. have formed a Strategic Partnership to begin offering the Certified Mentor Practitioner designation (CMP), beginning with delivery of the International Certification for Mentoring, Level 1, training course on Thursday November 14th, 2013.

On April 10th, 2013 the Human Resource Management Association of Manitoba (HRMAM) launched the HRMAM Mentorship Program at an event in Winnipeg. The Mentorship program signifies the Associations commitment to learning and development of Human Resource Practitioners at various stages of their career. The program will be open to Human Resource students and to all Human Resource practitioners no matter where they are in their career. Participants in the program must be members of HRMAM. HRMAM has partnered with Doug Lawrence, President of TalentC® - People Services Inc. (www.talentc.ca) in the design and implementation of the HRMAM Mentorship Program. Doug was instrumental in the design and implementation of the Saskatchewan Association of Human Resource Professionals (SAHRP) Mentorship Program which has been in existence now for 4 years.
HRMAM looks forward to the implementation of this program as a value add to its members and to the Human Resource profession.
International Certification for Mentoring - Level I
Organizations have realized the benefit of mentoring and the business value it brings to an organization. Through a mentoring culture we can create engaged, empowered and accountable employees, increasing productivity within the organization. This workshop is designed for those wishing to understand mentoring and mentoring concepts. The workshop is aimed at those who wish to begin to mentor others and those currently mentoring someone and wishing to enhance their mentoring capabilities. In this program, you will:
No previous mentoring experience is required to take this program. Participants must complete about six hours of required pre-course work.
